To become a hypnotherapist with state-licensed diplomas is not as easy as taking a weekend workshop. It is therefore up to the prospective student to do his or her own research, and to decide just how far to go with this profession. To make a commitment to 300, 400 or even 500 hours of training is much different than simply taking a hypnosis workshop. When Hypnotherapy becomes a career, then it is worthy of thorough training with legitimate credentials, and the knowledge about how to thrive in such a beautiful occupation.<\/p>\n

Once a person has invested the time, energy and money into a hypnotherapy education, then the real issue arises of how to make money in this field. This all comes down to attracting clients, and ideally attracting the \u201cright\u201d type of client. Those of us who are called to this profession sincerely want to help others because we know that nothing feels worse than having your own office and just waiting for the phone to ring. We therefore offer a solid 20-hour component in our Hypnotherapy Training on Business and Practice Management and Advertising and Marketing Strategies.<\/p>\n

  1. To attract the right person, you must be<\/em> the right person \u2013<\/strong> Invest in your personal wholeness as your primary form of advertising.<\/li>\n
  2. Develop a strong web presence \u2013 <\/strong>It used to be the phone book that everyone turned to, now your presence on the internet is crucial to your success.<\/li>\n
  3. Find your passion for presenting<\/strong> \u2013 Whether it is through public lectures, networking groups or \u201clunch and learns,\u201d find a way to get out there and get yourself known.<\/li>\n
  4. Connect with others<\/strong> \u2013 make it a habit to introduce two people each day to hypnotherapy no matter what!<\/li>\n
  5. Hypnotherapy<\/strong> \u2013 Aside from the many other ways to market your practice, if you are not succeeding then we cannot recommend enough \u201cHypnotherapy for the Hypnotherapist.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
