A Course in Miracles begins with the understanding that love is not something that can be taught, yet it does emphasize that we can \u201cremove the blocks to love, which is our own natural inheritance.\u201d When hypnotherapy is combined with this understanding we have a powerful way of facilitating true and lasting change in others. When this is combined with a profession, then we end up with a life of true meaning and purpose.<\/p>\n

To clear the blocks to love from a hypnotherapy model then we must have access to the emotional subconscious mind. When we live in our conscious mind and try to analyze the cause of our problems, then we do not ever really get to the root of what is bothering us. Deep within every human being there are layers of memories, unresolved pains, past hurts and countless buttons to be pushed to bring up many forms of upset. All of these serve as \u201cblocks\u201d to the awareness of love\u2019s presence. Therefore, one of the primary roles of a hypnotherapist or a hypnotherapy training is to increase the motivation to allow for a person to want to find true freedom and to experience the love that is awaiting within.<\/p>\n

Anyone who has ever taken the time to look within has realized that the inner world of thoughts and emotions can be an uncomfortable place. Without the proper knowledge of how to clear these blocks within ourselves or in others, then we can feel rather disempowered to find the answers we seek and the states of being that we all long for. We all want to feel good and hypnosis can not only bring about good feelings, but it can remove the blocks to the truly powerful feelings that arise from within of love, peace, joy and bliss.<\/p>\n
