Unfortunately, what happens for the uneducated consumer, is that he or she believes that to have a car is the same as driving a high-end luxury car.&nbsp;In the field of hypnosis training, this is the same as saying that someone is a hypnotist or a hypnotherapist just because they have training in the field.&nbsp;The most important factors to consider in being sure that you get a quality education in hypnosis are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em><u>Number of hours of training<\/u><\/em>. Do not settle for less than 300 and ideally shoot for 500 hours or more.&nbsp; Our IIH staff members have repeated our training at least once and therefore have over 1,000 classroom and clinical hours in hypnosis education.&nbsp; Don\u2019t settle for less!<\/li>\n<li><em><u>State-Licensure.<\/u><\/em> Without the backing of the US Department of Education, a school does not offer true career diplomas in its respective occupation.&nbsp;Attending a State-Licensed Hypnotherapy School protects the consumer and ensures a high-quality education as backed by leaders in the field of education regulation.&nbsp;This cannot be emphasized enough.<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Online and In-House Learning.<\/u><\/em>&nbsp;Online education for hypnotherapy is exceptionally helpful in increasing one\u2019s ability to learn and comprehend the training material.
