noteworthy to say the least.&nbsp; What can we as hypnotherapists learn from the supposed healings that occurred as they are reported in the New Testament?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Hypnosis:<\/strong>&nbsp; There is an altered state where people are more responsive to suggestions and where a powerful religious figure could influence the subconscious mind more easily.&nbsp; Is the reputation of the healer important?&nbsp; Does faith and\/or belief in him (or her) increase the efficacy of the healing response?&nbsp; Hypnosis is proven to tap into the power of the mind for positive change.&nbsp; How can spiritual and religious overtones effect this in positive ways, such as that which we find in faith healing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Transpersonal Hypnotherapy:<\/strong>&nbsp; Within the field of hypnosis training and certification, we have a branch that is Transpersonal, which is to say that we look at aspects of the practice that go beyond what we see with our physical eyes.&nbsp; We acknowledge a spiritual aspect to who we are and use various modalities to facilitate positive change from that vantage point.&nbsp; Looking at the lives of the world\u2019s great saints and sages has given us tremendous insight into the potentials of the mind when it comes to using hypnosis with spiritual
