The Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy has always honored that we, as human beings, are more than just mere bodies.  We\u2019ve honored that our work is sacred in that profound personal and spiritual growth can come about through the proper use of hypnotherapy for those who are open to such ideas.<\/p>\n

Through our acceptance that we do have a spiritual nature to our being, we tap into not only the power of our conscious and subconscious minds, but also our superconscious minds as well.  With this underlying intention, we can go way beyond our current limitations and tap into who we truly are and who we are truly meant to be.<\/p>\n

Why Emphasize Spiritual Growth?<\/h2>\n

Hypnotherapy does not have to have spiritual overtones at all. In fact, our hypnosis certification trainings allow for people to become certified hypnotherapists without ever touching upon spiritual themes.  Our first 300 hours of training is very \u201cdown-to-earth,\u201d and here we would say that profound personal growth can occur for those who are open to it.<\/p>\n

However, many people who are interested in how to learn hypnosis also want to know more about the deeper aspects of the mind, so they are very open to terms relating to topics such as, The Higher Self, The Oversoul, The Superconscious Mind and even The Divine Mind.<\/p>\n

We do not ever push any spiritual agenda, yet in our clinical and transpersonal hypnosis trainings, there is ample opportunity to dive into these very rich and fascinating topics.<\/p>\n

How does Hypnotherapy bring about Spiritual Growth?<\/h2>\n

\u201cSpirit\u201d is often associated with words such as Love, Peace, Joy, Bliss, Oneness and Wisdom.  It also has often been associated with attributes such as Compassion, Kindness, Understanding, Forgiveness and Loving-Service.  These words exist for a reason. They exist because human beings have experienced such states before; perhaps you have as well.<\/p>\n

We all want to feel these things, and hypnotherapy can help us remove the blocks to the awareness of all of the goodness that is already inside of us. When we clear our fears, doubts, negative emotions and regrets, etc., we open up to a wonderful new inner world of passion, creativity and consciousness.<\/p>\n
