What is Yogic Psychology?<\/h3>\n

Over the course of centuries, the ancient saints and sages of India devised system of thought and methods of practice that help to heal the human body, mind and emotions.  Deep philosophical systems, which have been refined over thousands of years, guide teachers and students to true freedom and pure bliss.  Unlike Western Psychology, which is largely rooted in resolving mental illness, Yogic Psychology starts with the premise that you are inherently perfect, whole and complete, and it offers ways to guide you back into that.<\/p>\n

How does this relate to Hypnotherapy?<\/h3>\n

The altered state of mind known as hypnosis encourages us to explore aspects of our mind which lie beyond conscious awareness. Ancient and modern yogis have developed methods that not only work with altered states, but that help us to clear the emotional blocks in the heart.  As Hypnotherapists, we learn all about the subconscious mind and its components.<\/p>\n

Applying Yogic Psychology and Philosophical teachings to our practice provides us with the opportunity to help clients as well as ourselves to heal in far more profound ways.<\/p>\n
